WARREN – Reita D. Nickerson, 50, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005, at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. Reita was born June 3, 1954, a daughter of Elwood and Laura Greenlaw Light. She graduated from Camden Rockport High School. She enjoyed knitting, collecting dolls, camping, gardening and her pets. Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Roy A. Nickerson of Warren; daughter, Jessy L. Nickerson of Warren; sons, Roy A. Nickerson II and his wife, Kathy, of Warren, Richard W. Nickerson of Warren; mother, Laura Waldron of Bradford; father, Elwood Light and his wife, Joanne, of Liberty; brothers, Dennis Dinsmore and his wife, Deborah, of Boothbay, Elwood Light Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Jefferson; grandchildren, Arielle, Alisha and Tristan Nickerson of Warren, Tommy Gaudette of Warren, Stacey Stewart of Providence, R.I.; sisters, Wanda Armstrong and her husband, Sean, of Swanville, Debby Light and her fianc?, Dan, of Windsor, Regina Eaton and her fianc?, Troy, of Waldoboro, Edith Martin and her husband, Tom, of Liberty; mother-in-law, Caroline Heroux of Belfast; sisters-in-law, Debra Mitchell of Swanville, Pamela Nickerson of Belfast, Valerie Hill of Auburn; brothers-in-law, Edmund Nickerson of Port Crane, N.Y., Frank Nickerson of Oakland; many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Hall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Reita’s memory to the Diabetes Association, Maine Division, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 98R, Portland, ME 04101 or a local animal shelter of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Waldoboro.
