EAST MADISON – Rena L. Connelly, 67, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005, at her cottage in East Madison. She was born July 14, 1937, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Albert and Yvonne (Rossignol) Levesque. She was educated in the schools of Edmundston. She was a long time resident of Jackman. Rena’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren at the lake. She loved to bake and took great pride in her home. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Clark A. Connelly; two sons, Daniel Connelly and wife, Kimberly, of Skowhegan, John Connelly and fianc?e, Dawn Iler, of Southfield, Mich.; two daughters, Sandra Cook and husband, Tracy, of Corinth, Susan Allen and husband, Daniel, of Jackman; 10 grandchildren, Dusten, Devin, Matthew, Tamara, Trisha, Andrew, Danielle, Leah, Elizabeth, and Nicholas; one brother, Reno Levesque; and a sister, Juliette DesJardins; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Avenue, Skowhegan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Water St., Skowhegan, with Fr. Maurice N. Morin officiating.
