RENA M. LOCKE FORT FAIRFIELD and BANGOR – Rena M. Locke, 92, wife of the late Medford C. Locke, died Dec. 24, 2003, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Dec. 1, 1911, in Limestone, the daughter of Arthur and Carrie (Bennett) Morris. Rena attended schools in Limestone and graduated from Boston College. She enjoyed planting flowers and watching her birds, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and taking care of her dog “Sammy.” She lived in Fort Fairfield for many years and then moved to Bangor in 1980, where she resided until 2002 then moved to East Newport to be near her family. She is survived by her son, Gary Locke and his wife, Paula, of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Paula’s son, Wes Campbell of Eddington; one daughter, Kathy Cyr and Stephen Folsom of East Newport; three grandchildren, Erin Kate Locke of Eddington, Heidi Cyr and Kirsten Cyr, both of Boston, Mass. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor with Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of the Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Superintendent’s Lodge, State Street entrance, at 12:45 p.m. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt.
