PRESQUE ISLE – Reve Brooker, 83, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, April 1, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born June 8, 1923, in St. John, the daughter of Henry and Milissa (Brann) Sturgeon. She is survived by a son, Gary Brooker and his wife, Sharon, of Presque Isle; a daughter, Thelma MacIvor of Presque Isle; three grandchildren, Darin MacIvor of Presque Isle, John Brooker and his wife, Vera, of El Paso, Texas, and Trish Beals and her husband, Damon, of Presque Isle; five great-grandchildren; brother, Warren Sturgeon of Presque Isle; two sisters, Essie York of Westfield and Hazel Cyr of Presque Isle, several nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by a special niece, Sandra McLaughlin of Presque Isle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Wilmer, Niel, Gilford and Ronnie. At Reve’s request there will be no services at this time and a private graveside service will be conducted at a later date at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
