SANGERVILLE – Richard A. Baston, 66, died Sept. 1, 2005, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born Feb. 7, 1939, in Lewiston, son of Harry and Arline (Benson) Baston. He was raised in Lisbon and attended Lisbon schools. He served for several years in the U.S. Air Force and worked for many years in data processing. He and his wife owned and operated Shire town Pizza, in Dover-Foxcroft for many years. He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Fitch) Baston of Sangerville; a son, Keith Baston of Maryland; and a daughter, Andrea and her husband, Eugene Holley, of North Carolina; two sisters, Phyllis Blasko of Sangerville, Judith and her husband, Phillip Adams, of Greenville Junction; two grandchildren, Scott and Sean Baston; five stepchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford, with a time for friends to call at the funeral home an hour before the time of the service.
