GREENBUSH – Richard A. Fish, 71, passed away April 26, 2007. He was born May 21, 1935, in Old Town, the oldest child of Stanley A. Fish Jr. and Estella (Woodard) Fish. Richard served our country in the Air Force for 32 years, including service during the Korean War. He went on to serve his community as an Old Town Police Officer for many years, Greenbush Selectman for 18 years, and one of his proudest positions, as a Code Enforcement officer during his retirement. Richard also served as a Boy Scout Leader, he was a member of the Star in the East Lodge No. 60, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be remembered for his quick wit. Richard was predeceased by his parents; and brother, William Fish. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Charlotte (Mason) Fish; children, Terry Crosby and her husband, Cathy LeBreton and her husband, Jay, Ricky Fish, Shannon Fish and his wife, Heidi, and Traci Fish; stepchildren, Karen Zych and her husband, Jim, Dawna St. Louis, and Jenise Soucy and her husband, Alain; sister, Beverly Fish; brothers, Stanley Fish III and Robert Fish; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call 3 p.m. until the time of service Monday, April 30, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will begin 6 p.m. Interment will be private at a later date.
