DOVER-FOXCROFT – Richard H. Dority, 76, husband of Delma (Farmer) Dority, died unexpectedly May 15, 2004, at a local hospital. He was born March 7, 1928, in Bangor, the son of Cecil A. and Lottie M. (Kinney) Dority. He was a truck driver for most of his life, and enjoyed his winters with his wife at their home in Brooksville, Fla. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Delma; three daughters, Pamela and her husband, Dwight Smith, Brenda and her husband, James Ruksznis, Donna and her husband, Elwood Edgerly, all of Dover-Foxcroft; seven grandchildren, Angela and her husband, Jody Pearl, Richard Nye, Christy and her husband, Roscoe Green, Jason Edgerly, Ryan Edgerly, Brent and his wife, Annette Dority; five great-grandchildren, Claire and Wyatt Green, Mackenzie Pearl, Brent and Devin Dority; four sisters, Jane and her husband, Frank Greising, Jean and her husband, Donald Bradman, Ruth and her husband, Daniel Hayward, Jackie Labousier; a brother, Paul; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be remembered by his special in-laws, Elizabeth and James Hansen, and John and Joan Farmer. He was predeceased by a son, Richard C. Dority; an infant daughter, Mary Lou Dority; and a grandson, Wayne Grant. Friends are invited to call 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with the Rev. Ken Dale officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Dover Cemetery.
