FORT FAIRFIELD – Richard J. Harrington, 65, husband of Mrs. Sylvia E. (Eckhart) Harrington, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 24, 2005, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, after an extended illness. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield, where a funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m., with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Interment will follow at the Union Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Harrington to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, One Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
