LINCOLN – Richard P. Thibodeau, 67, husband of Florence (Young) Thibodeau, died July 19, 2005, in Lincoln. He was born in Lincoln, Oct. 24, 1937, the son of Richard Val and Marion Thelma (Jones) Thibodeau. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked picking bottles and collecting junk. He loved his grandchildren, they were everything to him. In addition to his wife, Florence, of Lincoln, he is survived by six children, Carol James and her husband, Robert, of Lee, Richard Thibodeau Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Brunswick, Debra James and her husband, Richard, of Lee, James Thibodeau and his wife, Holli, of Lincoln, Julie Thibodeau of Lincoln and Christine Kenney and her husband, Tom, of Veazie; five stepchildren, Kathy Andrews, Holly Stratton, Herbert Grant, Jr., Joel Grant and Billy Grant; four brothers and sisters, Cecil Thibodeau of Buxton, Evelyn Osnoe of Burlington, Myra Dobson of Lincoln and Linus Thibodeau of Lewiston; 19 grandchildren, Shannan, Melissa, Mandy, DJ, Tina, Jessica, Ricky, Melissa, Katie, Stephanie, Roberta, JJ, Kristen, Chelsey, Brittany, Matthew, Stephen, Brendan and Thomas; four great-grand-children, Anthony, Victoria, Austin, and Rachael; step-grandchildren, Troy Stratton, Ashley Stratton, Aaron Arthurs, Cody Grant, Mary Grant, Coty Grant, Jimmy Andrews, Patrick Andrews, Dylon Grant and Olivia Grant; step-great-granddaughter, Kaley Marie; a sister-in-law, Edwina Tracy and her husband, Sonny, of Portland. He was predeceased by his first wife, Glenna. Graveside services will be held 4 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lee, with the Rev. Mitchell Bickford officiating.
