HOWLAND – Richard T. Lee Sr., 68, husband of Geraldine (Grover) Lee, went with God peacefully, Sept. 26, 2006, surrounded by his family at home. He was born March 21, 1938, in Passadumkeag, the son of Lloyd and Irene (LaPlante) Lee. Richard was employed at Great Northern Paper Co. and was an avid carpenter. He loved to tinker and putter around in his garage with his friend, Paul Lee. He lived life for his children and wife. He enjoyed summers at camp with his wife and kids; his brother, Jimmy; and his dog, Puggy. He loved his two cats, Baby and Missy. He enjoyed helping others and was very well liked and respected by all who knew him. He loved to play cards and was a member of the Eagles Club. In addition to his wife, Geraldine; son, Brent Lee and his companion, Rhonda Church; who was a very special person who helped care at home for Richard along with his daughter, Tracie; daughter, Tracie Lee and her companion, Jason Harris; all of Howland; three brothers, Lloyd Lee Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., Robert Lee and Thelma, James Lee and Georgeann, all of Howland; three other children from a previous marriage, Richard Lee Jr. of Cheshire, Conn., Karen Fogg of Howland and Christine Peters of Illinois; grandchildren, Cassandra and Shelby Lee, Desiree Lee, Richard T. Lee III, Amanda and Jessica Fogg; great-granddaughter, Rylee Smith; several nieces and nephews, and will be missed by many friends. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a memorial service will be held 7 p.m. with the Rev. Alan Porter officiating.
