BANGOR – Ricky A. Foster, 48, died unexpectedly Feb. 15, 2008. He was born Aug. 29, 1959, the son of Allen and Etta Foster. He attended Carmel and Hermon schools, including special education at Hermon High School. He was a consumer of OHI and made many friends there, including the staff. He loved woodworking and had a very large collection of model trucks and cars. He was very loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents; his younger brother, Gary Foster; a sister, Cindy Cook of Delaware; two aunts, Jeanette Allard of Steep Falls and Vera Mitchell of Brewer; three uncles, Timothy and Roger Caler, both of Standish and Charles Caler of Steep Falls; a niece, Amber Ryan of New York; a nephew, Ryan Cook of Delaware; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Everett Foster and wife, Nora, and Alfred Caler and wife, Shirley; and three uncles, Cecil Foster, Everett Foster Jr. and Sheldon Caler. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and staff at OHI. There will be no funeral. Arrangements will be made for cremation by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
