BROOKSVILLE – Robert B. “Bob” Snow, 59, died April 5, 2005. He was born May 20, 1945, in West-brook, the son of Albert Ellis and Madlyn (Grindle) Snow. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War from 1965-1968, serving two tours of duty as a gunner on a helicopter. Bob was known as one of the best mechanics around and loved the time he spent in his garage surrounded by his dogs; Rosie, Pin Pin and Annie Bella; his pot-bellied pig, Arnold; and his cats who were inseparable from him. He enjoyed his many, many friends who filled his garage everyday. Bob loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He could never be idle, he was a very hard worker and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He is survived by his companion, Sarah Payson of Brooksville; his children, Bobbi Jo Snow and her companion, Bugsy, of Lamoine, Barbie Jo Patten of Ellsworth, Eric Snow of Orland, Billie Jo Warren and her husband, Roy, of Franklin, Heidi Paul of Canada, Robert James Paul of Canada, Brian Robert Jordan of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Kasey, Bubba, Delanie, Damon, Davey, Izaak, Shronia, Cameron, Cristia, Alyassa, Sam, JR, and Nevaeh; sisters, Mavis Dearborn and her husband, Gene Gorham, Janice Billings and her husband, Mert, of Brooksville, Brenda Douglass and her companion, Paul Carter of Sedgwick; brothers, Gene Snow of Brooksville; sister-in-law, Mary Snow of Penobscot; his aunt, Inez Fogg of Belfast; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and a special nephew, Danny Douglass of Sedgwick. He was predeceased by his father in 1980; his mother in 1988; and his brother, Albert Snow Jr. in 1995. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. April 30 at Mount Rest Cemetery in North Brooksville. Donations in his memory may be made to the Ark Animal Shelter.
