MACHIASPORT – Robert E. “Bob” Wood Sr., 64, died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at home. He was born July 22, 1943, in Kennebec, the son of the late Donald and Mabel (Morse) Wood. Mr. Wood owned and operated his own auto body and paint shop for many years. He enjoyed hunting, remodeling cars and spending time with his family. Bob was a member of Bucks Harbor Baptist Church. He shared 46 years of marriage with Marie (Ingalls) Wood. In addition to his wife, family members include five children, Teresa Luna and husband, Bob, Tamera Colbeth and husband, Bruce, Robert E. Wood Jr. and wife, Colleen, Donald Wood and wife, Dawnette, and Mark Wood; a brother, Larry Wood and wife, Marjorie; a sister, Rochelle Robinson and husband, Arthur; a sister, Janet Robinson and husband, Mike; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Doris Ingalls; a brother-in-law, Wayne Ingalls and his special caretaker, Bessie Moe; a sister-in-law, Norma Tucker and husband, Harry; 14 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, one great-grandchild, one great-stepgrandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by an infant grandson. At Bob’s request, a graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Hillside Ceme-tery, Bucks Harbor, with Pastor Jeff Henderson officiating.
