WINTERPORT – Robert Eugene Brassbridge Sr., 66, passed away May 1, 2008, surrounded by his family and friends at his home. He was born March 21, 1942, in Frankfort, the son of Lawrence Brassbridge Sr. and Elmyra (Young) Brassbridge. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, spending quality time with his grandchildren, and hanging out with his good friends and family in the garage talking about how each other’s day had gone. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen Marie (Stearns) Brassbridge; son, Robert Jr.; daughter, Amy Wright and hus-band, Buck; one sister, June Johnson and Ken; brothers, Lawrence Jr. and wife, Char-lene, Wayne and wife, Pam, Roger and wife, Shirley, David, Carleton and Millie, Kenneth and wife, Gayle, and Stephen and wife, Dianna; four grandchildren, Pam and Rhonda Howard and Raven and Cassie Wright; two aunts, Rose Rowell and Edith Seekins; nieces, nephews and many good fri-ends who helped care for Robert in his final days. He was predeceased by a daughter, Marie Howard in 2005; and a brother, John Young. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, May 5, at Pilgrim’s Home Cemetery, Monroe. After the service, everyone is invited to Robert and Helen’s home for a continued time of fellowship and remembrance.
