HULLS COVE – Robert E. Norwood, 67, passed away unexpectedly June 22, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 26, 1939, in Trenton, the son of Clyde E. and Gladys (Scott) Norwood. Robert worked at Bar Harbor Heating and Sheet Metal for many years, before coming to own and operate the business for more than a decade. He also worked at Bluenose Ferry Terminal, AB & JR Hodgkins, and Rhinehart. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Somesville. During his youth, he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers. He took great enjoyment in working on landscaping and gardening around his home. Robert adored his family and especially enjoyed following his granddaughters in their school sports. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Norwood; son, Jeffrey Norwood; grandchildren, Jenna, Emily and Holly Gordius, and Adam and Andrew Norwood; mother, Gladys Nor-wood; brothers, William Norwood and wife, Carol, and George Norwood; sisters, Carol Richardson and husband, Roger, and Patricia Dyer; several nieces, nephews and aunts; special friend, Carl “Whitey” Griffin. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Martha (Goodwin) Norwood; father, Clyde Norwood; and two brothers, Clyde “Sonny” Norwood Jr. and Donald “Donnie” Norwood. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Ellsworth, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, officiated by Mary-Carol Griffin.
