LINCOLN – Robert G. Hamilton, 58, husband of Marie (Worster) Hamilton, died June 3, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1946, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Shirley and Elva (Glew) Hamilton. Bob graduated from Lee Academy. He was employed for 28 years at Region III Vocational School in Lincoln as a maintenance man and bus driver. He thoroughly enjoyed being with the kids there. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. He loved hunting, fishing and pitching horseshoes and was ranked No. 2 in the state for pitching horseshoes. In addition to his wife of 30 years, Marie; he is survived by six children, Kristy Hamilton, her fianc?, Robert Libby and grandson, Gage Robert Libby of Lincoln; Larry Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, Fla., Paula Raymond of Lee, Thomas Fitzgerald, of Lincoln, Terry Fitzgerald of New Hampshire, Dianne Rollins and grandchildren, Darcy Rollins and James Fitzgerald of Lee; seven other grandchildren; four sisters, Loree Smith and Bob of Benton, Darla Smart and Rod of Oakland, Rayle Gourd and Jimmy of Jackman, and Perlene Libby and Bob of Lee; a brother, Shirley Hamilton and Joyce of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jeremy. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Region III Vocational School, West Broadway, Lincoln.
