WAKEFIELD CALAIS – Robert Justason Wakefield, 71, passed away Oct. 6, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Bath, the son of Frank Irving and Alice Justason Wakefield. Robert “Bob” was well liked by those who knew him and he will be missed by them, as well as his family. He is survived by two sisters, Bertha Johnson of Baring Plantation and Shirley Dudley of Eastport; a sister-in-law, Nora Wakefield of Calais; three nieces, Deborah Murphy of Calais, Linda Dudley of Eastport and Sheri Wakefield of Hampden; a nephew, Brian Dudley of Tillamook, Ore.; three great-nieces, Kimberly Bridges of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Samantha Reynolds of Baileyville and Stacy Dudley of Biddeford. He was predeceased by a brother, Wallace Wakefield of Baring; a nephew, Larry Dudley of Eastport; and two brothers-in-law, Arthur Johnson of Baring and Gerald Dudley of Eastport.
