SHERMAN – Robert Qualey, 79, died peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. He was born July 14, 1925, in Benedicta, the son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Rush) Qualey. He spent many years on the family farm before becoming an employee of the State Department of Transportation, where he worked until he retired. He was very strong in his faith and love of God. He was very proud to be Catholic, of his Irish decent, and his family. He was both loving and kind, and was never demanding or complaining.
