OAKFIELD – Roberta C. Stairs, 80, died March 29, 2008, in Houlton. She was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Oakfield, the daughter of Robert and Olive (Porter) Clark. She is survived by two children, David and his wife, Deborah Stairs, of Hermon and Robin and her husband, Gary Crandall, of Oakfield; five grandchildren, Matthew, Steph-anie, Hilary, Adam and Michael; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman and his wife, Alma Clark, of Oakfield; a brother-in-law, Cleve and his wife, Jane Stairs, of Sanford; several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held in the spring at Oakfield Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
