BANGOR – Roberta M. Miller, 90, died Nov. 16, 2004, at a local healthcare facility. She was born June 15, 1914, in Bangor, the daughter of Ross and Inez (Bemis) Miller. She was a nurse assistant at Dow Air Force Base Hospital from 1960-1966, Eastern Maine Medical Center from 1966-1974, where she worked in the emergency room for five years, and was a senior citizen driver from 1977-1982 for the Foster Grandparents Program. Roberta was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her nephew, Robert Miller of Orono; and her very close friend, Inez Farrell of Brewer. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church, officiating.
