CARIBOU – Robin Lyn Adams, 44, died Oct. 28, 2007, at her residence after a long illness. She was born July 16, 1963, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Robert and Dona (Fogg) Simmons Sr. Robin graduated from Presque Isle High School, Class of 1982 and Husson College in 1996. She was employed at Loring Air Force Base for many years and was recently employed at Defense Finance and Accounting Service, DFAS. She was a member of Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was also a Sunday school teacher. Robin was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her children, who she loved so much. She married Darrell Adams Jr., Dec. 31, 1998. Surviving, in addition to her husband of Caribou, are five sons, Seth of Bangor, Nathaniel, Darrell III, twins, Christopher and Taylor, all of Caribou; two stepdaughters, Carli Cleaves of Presque Isle and Sarah Adams of Mapleton; one brother, Robert Simmons Jr. of Presque Isle; three sisters, Linda Brewer of Presque Isle, Sonya Craig of Mars Hill and Angel Frank of St. Agatha; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Gray Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ellen Cleaves, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
