KENDUSKEAG and WINTERPORT – Rochelle “Shelley” Potter Wolfe passed away unexpectedly Sept. 28, 2006, at her home in Kenduskeag. She was born Sept. 14, 1955, in Bangor, the daughter of Ronald and Marilyn Potter of Winterport. She attended the Leroy H. Smith School, Winterport and graduated from Hampden Academy, Class of 1974. She attended Westbrook College. Until recently, she was employed at the Sheraton Hotel, Bangor. Shelley had a love of music and doing needlework, especially crocheting afghans and knitting. She is survived by her parents; a son, Terry J. Wolfe of Bangor; a sister, Rhonda and her husband, Donald Shand, of Islesboro; two nephews, Eric Shand of Waterboro and Steven Shand of Charlotte, N.C.; and a cousin, Ben Hamblen of Sangerville. Private burial will be in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. Gestures of remembrance may be made to the Rochelle J. Wolfe Memorial Cancer Fund, care of Healthcare Charities, P.O. Box 931, Bangor, ME 04402-0931. Arrangements entrusted to the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
