EDMUNDSTON and UNIQUE LAKE, New Brunswick, and FORT KENT – Roderick Breau died peacefully March 26, 2008, in Edmundston, New Brunswick. He was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, son of Joseph and Evelyn (Bernier) Breau. Rod had been a Canadian custom officer and had also worked for Barbour Foods. He loved the outdoors and spend-ing time at Unique Lake, New Brunswick. Recently, Rod lived in Edmundston, New Brunswick, but previously lived at Unique Lake, New Brunswick, and Fort Kent. He was predeceased by his wife, Rowena (Dumond) Breau; and his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Breau. He is survived by a brother, Dr. George and Barbara Breau of Ottawa; and a sister, Gloria and Joffre Daigle of Madawaska. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Altantic Standard Time Tuesday, April 1, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Edmundston, New Brunswick. Visiting hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 31, and 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass Tuesday, April 1, at J.B. C?t? & Fils Lte Funeral Home, 160 Church St., Edmundston, New Brunswick.
