ORONO and CARIBOU Roger Duncan Chandler, 73, passed away Nov. 14, 2007, at a Bangor hospi-tal. Roger was born Dec. 4, 1933, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Irving and Ivah (Duncan) Chandler. Roger graduated from Caribou High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was employed as an engineer in the construction business. He was a member of the Caribou Masonic Lodge No. 170 AF & AM. Roger is survived by his sister-in-law, Carolyn Chandler-Campbell and her husband, Peter, of Caribou; his nephew, Jeffrey Chandler and his wife, Maureen, and their children, Kara and Tia, of Sidney; his niece, Bethany Chandler Marquis and her husband, Paul, and their children, Michael and Gabrielle, of Caribou; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Jerre. Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Evergreen Cemetery, South Main Street, Caribou.
