June 22, 1920 – Feb. 11, 1988 Daddy, it’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since you read your last Bangor Daily News. There is so much that you’ve missed and we’ve missed you. If we had known that Feb. 11, 1988, would have been your last day on Earth, we would have been right there with you. You would not have had to die alone. No goodbye words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.
