ROLAND DUBE BRACKNEY, Pa. – Roland Dube, 57, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at his home. He was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, to the late Alex and Helene (Cyr) Dube. Roland worked for the C.P. Railroad for 27 years, and loved to play cards, “31,” drink coffee, work with his Kubota tractor and watch old T.V. programs. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Betty Dube; three sons; two stepsons, Ronald and Sherry Mullens of Sebec and Frederick Mullens of Hickory, N.C.; stepdaughter, Donna Alley of Fairmount, W.Va.; special sister, Juanita Taylor of Dexter; several grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews; special friends, Bruce and Vickie Franchek, Gary and Judy Wells and Tommie and Kay Trainor. He was predeceased by a brother, Norman Dube; and sister, Yolande Dube. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, Pa. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerard F. Safko, of the Holy Name of Mary Church, officiating. Interment services will be held privately at Quaker Lake Cemetery.
