BELFAST – Ronald Edward Jenness, 50, of Belfast passed away Thursday, July 7, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility. Ron worked at Jeds Restaurant for several years then was manager of Rollie’s Caf?. He loved his family and especially his son, he also liked to read, cook and play golf. He was an avid sports booster for the Belfast area teams, and was recognized for his contributions to the local sports programs. Ronald was predeceased by his father, Reginald Jenness; and a son, Rick Thomas Jenness. He is survived by his mother, Elsie (Turner) Jenness of Belfast; a son, Tyler Rick Jenness; a sister, Barbara Carey and husband, Tom, of Winter Haven, Fla.; three brothers, Randall Jenness and wife, Kay, of Belfast, Richard Jenness, and Robert Jenness; a niece, Sarah Jenness; and nephews, Thomas and Kevin Carey. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the Grove Cemetery with the Rev’s Ken and Pat Parker.
