BANGOR – Ronald F. Collins, 82, died Oct. 14, 2004, at a Dexter healthcare facility. He was born June 13, 1922, in Calais. Ron was a member of St. Mary’s Parish family, an extremely dedicated usher, and always brought and filled the hard candy dish for the members of the church choir. He is survived by one cousin, Shirley McDonald of Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Lequin, pastor, presider. Friends may call 9 a.m. until time of the Mass Monday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Interment will follow at Calais Cemetery.
