JONESBORO – Rosalie E. Smith, 80, died May 30, 2008, at Sunrise Care Facility. Ros-alie was born April 8, 1928, in Jonesport, daughter of Irene Church and Ellery Worcester. She attended Jonesport schools. All her life she worked in different various jobs. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Paul Rosebush; also by two sons, Gary Alley and wife, Kathy, and Ivan Alley and companion, Carol Graham; three daughters, Rebecca Alley and companion, Scott Porter, Lisa Smith and husband, Mark, and Carol Geel and husband, John; 15 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one niece, Sharon Worcester; one nephew, Jerry Worcester; two great-nieces and five great-great-nephews. She is survived by many special friends. She was predeceased by sons, Robert Worcester and Ronnie Dean Smith; brother, Carroll Worcester; granddaughter, Angel Alley; and also her loving pet of 13 years, who was a big part of her life, Sassy. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Jonesboro Union Church with graveside services at Green-wood Cemetery, Jonesport, with Pastor Pam Mushero officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunrise Care Facility, Jonesport.
