MANCHESTER, Conn. – Rose A. (Potvin) Amero, 95, the beloved wife of the late J. Delbert Amero, died Monday, June 21, 2004, at Crestfield Convalescent Home. She was born in Fort Kent, the daughter of the late Cyprian and Odile (Saucier) Potvin. She lived in Manchester for the past 27 years. Rose is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Clara Jacques of Enfield, Laura and Robert O’Brien of Windsor Locks, Conn., Betty and Skip Davis of Manchester, Conn., Phyllis Amero of Manchester, Conn., Louis and Anne Amero of Mapleton and Donald Amero of Woodstock, Vt., 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; her brother, Edmund Potvin of Fort Kent; and several nieces and nephews. Rose’s family would like to thank the staff at Crestfield Convalescent Home for the wonderful care their mother received. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Road, Manchester, Conn. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary Cemetery, Presque Isle. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the John F. Tierney Funeral home, 219 west Center St., Manchester, Conn.
