BANGOR – Roselle Catherine Foley, 96, died Sept. 3, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was born in Bangor, Aug. 16, 1908, the daughter of Frank E. and Frances I. (Nolan) Foley. Roselle graduated in the first Class of John Bapst High School, she was retired from New England telephone and Telegraph with 45 years of service. She was a life long communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church and a member of St. John’s Women’s council. Roselle was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers. Surviving are three sisters and one brother, Ellen “Tina” Campbell of Brewer, Dorothy Burkett of Ohmaha Neb., Carolyn Keilty of Waltham, Mass., William “Tug” Foley and wife, Nancy, of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Ruth Delaney, Isabelle Case, Frank and George Foley. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 8, 2004, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard C. McLaughlin pastor celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. A reception and time of fellowship will follow in St. John’s Church hall.
