RUTH A. BEALS GLENBURN – Ruth A. Beals, 84, wife of the late Kenneth H. Beals, died Oct. 23, 2003, surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born Dec. 3, 1918, in Bucksport, the daughter of Joel W. and Laura (Borden) Howard. She is survived by five sons, Venton and his wife, Renate, of Bonita Springs, Fla., Paul and his wife, Elaine, of Westbrook, Conn., Stephen of Milo, Jonathan and his wife, Bethany, of Milo, Michael and his wife, Jean, of Glenburn; four daughters, Pamela and her husband, Maynard Lane, of Glenburn, Susan Pichardo and her partner, Terry Engebretsen, of Pocatello, Idaho, Karen and her husband, Harvey Bowley, of Millinocket, Rhonda and her husband, Phil Ouellette, of Old Town; a brother, Tom Howard of Milo; three sisters, Madeline Cunningham of South Portland, Marion Harmon of Marion, N.C., Margaret Peters of Brewer; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grand-children; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Curneal and Lois Sangillo; a son, Harrison; and a son-in-law, Pablo Pichardo. Friends are invited to call 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, with Rev. Ernest Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A time of fellowship and sharing will follow at the Milo Baptist Church.
