ANDOVER, Mass. – Samuel John Taylor born Feb. 10, 2005, in Methuen died July 4, 2005, in Portland. Sammy our beautiful baby boy lived only five short months yet filled our lives so completely that we can’t imagine going on without him. He had a smile that melted your heart and a giggle so infectious you just had to laugh back. He was fascinated with everything in his world, loved everyone he met and left his little footprints on everyone’s heart. He is survived by his loving parents, Noel McLaughlin and Alex Taylor of Andover, Mass.; his grandparents, Nelson and Cheryll McLaughlin of Schertz, Texas and Anita Taylor of New Harbor; great-grandparents, C. William “Bill” and Dorothy Clark of Brewer and John and Evelyn Parker of New Harbor; uncles, Jeff Taylor and Noah McLaughlin; and aunts, Bobbi Hunter, Rebecca Devost and Lori Amico. He was the grandson of the late Calvin Taylor. Visiting hours will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 8, at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main St., Andover, Mass. Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at St. Augustine’s Church, Andover. In lieu of flowers, his parents request donations be made in his memory to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center, Development Office, 22 Bramhall St., Portland, ME 04102.
