ENFIELD – Scott Alvin Bates, 22, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital. Friends and relatives may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Alan Porter officiating. Interment will be in the spring. Friends and family are invited to gather at the VFW Hall in West Enfield after the funeral service.
