MILFORD – Shawn P. O’Brien, 62, died Friday Dec. 19, 2003, at East Side Rehabilitation Center in Bangor. He was born Sept. 26, 1941, in Jackman, the son of Forrest and Madeline (Pease) O’Brien. Shawn was raised and received his education in Jackman. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1960-1967. He came back to Maine and was employed by the University of Maine Computing Center in Orono, until the time of his death. Shawn is survived by his parents, Forrest and Madeline (Pease) O’Brien of Jackman; an aunt, Ethel (O’Brien) Dionne of Dover, N.H.; several cousins, Douglas Mulhall, Paul Pease, and Norma (Pease) Trahan of Jackman, Carleen (Pease) Musick of Bakersfield, Vt., Maureen (O’Brien) Hendel of Feeding Hills, Mass., and Jane (O’Brien) Shapiro of Shaftsbury, Vt., and their families; special friends, Stanley and Jackie Redmond of Bingham, and Carl and Hilda Woodard of Stillwater. There will be no visiting hours, a funeral mass will be celebrated later in the spring at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Jackman, the date and time will be announced. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Arrangements are by Giberson Funeral home, 18 River St., Bingham.
