The Family Of SHERRY CLAY There are not enough words in the English language, nor enough space in the newspaper, to express our thanks to all who supported us during Sherry’s last, sudden illness and untimely death. To the Penobscot Valley Hospital ambulance crew and to the Lincoln Fire Department for their quick response to our home, to the emergency department at Penobscot Valley Hospital for their rapid and accurate diagnosis, treatment and transfer, to the helicopter crew who so rapidly took her to Bangor, and to Dr. Toder and the whole emergency room crew at Eastern Maine Medical Center for their highly professional and skilled attempt to save Sherry’s life, we will be forever grateful. We are thankful that our non-family staff at the funeral home so selflessly took over all the day to day tasks, so that we family members could devote all our time to Sherry’s services. Our funeral director friends from all over the state were ever so supportive and helpful. And to our family members and friends who provided food and facilities, sent flowers (Sherry loved flowers), sent cards, sent messages on the web-site, stopped by or attended her funeral, we are very grateful. Each hug, every handshake, pat on the shoulder or simple “I’m sorry” meant more to us than you’ll ever know. Two words, “Thank You” seem so inadequate, but I can’t find any others that seem to be appropriate. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. All our love, Hervey, Vicki, Stephen, Katie and Samuel and families
