GLENBURN – Sherry L. DePhilippo, 38, died April 6, 2008, in Glenburn, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born July 27, 1969, in Bangor, the daughter of Lewis and Emma (Quimby) Wiley. Sherry was an amazing mother, who loved her daughters very much. They always came first in her life. She loved her mother and father very much, to whom she was very close to. She had a very close bond with her father, who loved and adored her. She was and still is daddy’s little girl. She loved her sister and brothers, who loved her always and called her Sissy Poo. She and her sister, Pam, always played a game of who was the favorite daughter. They would always write notes and leave them for mom to find and read. She had a competition with her brother, Lewis, about who could give the best sentimental greeting cards to mom and dad. She was always joking with her brothers, Robbie and Ronnie, about everything. She thought the world of Faye and Eddie DePhilippo. She had many close friends that she loved and whom will miss her dearly. Sherry had a heart of gold, worked extremely hard and loved everyone. She enjoyed spending all of her free time at our family camp at Moosehead Lake. She loved all family gatherings and Mom’s good home cooking. She will be sadly and deeply missed by her daughters, Destiny, Alicia and Kourtney; her parents, Emma and Lewis; her sister, Pamela and husband, Marty, and their daughters, Amanda, Kelly, Lindsey and Monica; her three brothers, Lewis and his wife, Jeanie, and their children, Jason, Jessica, Michelle and Jeff, Robbie and his daughters, Michelle, Mary Ann and Crystal and Ronnie and his wife, Tammie, and their daughters, Amanda, Ashley and Lesley; grandmother, Vingie Quimby; special sister-in-law, Robin Wiley; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn.
