In Loving Memory Of SHIRLEY D. GREEN Dec. 12, 1920 – May 14, 1997 After nine years, there still isn’t a day that we don’t think of you. A song, a craft catalog, a beautiful flower garden, the giggles of our grandchildren, the accomplishments of our children all make us long to have you here to share it with us. At those times, the emptiness left by your passing is brand new all over again. Only those who have lost one so dear can know the sadness those moments bring. And yet, we appreciate the joy of those times with the same enthusiasm and pride we always saw in you. You set such a wonderful example for all of us by being the kind of mother and grandmother we could strive to emulate. It is a proud moment when someone says, “You remind me of your mother.” How very fortunate we are to be your husband, children, and grandchildren. Knowing and loving you has always been a cherished gift. Being loved by you has been a source of comfort and pride for which we are truly grateful. As we have every day for nine years, we miss you and love you. Phil, Ronald, Dennis, Linda and families
