CARIBOU – Shirley Anne De-Moura, 72, died March 1, 2008, at her Caribou residence. She was born Oct. 8, 1935, in Caribou, the daughter of Leo and Lena (Wilcox) McLaughlin Sr. Shirley attended Woodland schools and was a member of First Baptist Church, Woodland. She is survived by two daughters, Beatrice Wilkins and Roxie Martin; three sons, Norman Akerson Jr., Paul Akerson and Kirk Akerson, all of Caribou; one brother, Leo McLaughlin Jr. of Caribou; two sisters, Thelma Frost and Mavis Carson, both of Caribou; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeMoura was predeceased by three bothers, Raymond, Fred and Charles; and five sisters, Priscilla McLaughlin, Gretchen Murphy, Mabel Brown, Myrtle Sjoberg and Helen McShea.
