WASHBURN – Silas E. Jordan, 89 died Wednesday morning Nov. 3, 2004, at a Mars Hill healthcare facility. He was born at Mapleton, April 22, 1915, the son of Willis and Emma (Easler) Jordan. He worked for the City of Presque Isle for 18 years, and then worked for Potato Service, Inc. for 14 years. Silas enjoyed joy rides and going to yard sales. He was a member of the Church of Jesus in Presque Isle. He is survived by two sons and their wives, Carl and Carla Jordan of Bangor, Ronnie and Gloria Jordan of Kenduskeag; two daughters and their husbands, Delores and Charlie Brown of Presque Isle, Betty and Paul Wilson of Washburn; two brothers, Dale Jordan of Naugatuck, Conn. and Arden Jordan and his wife, Mary, of Waterbury, Conn.; 11 grandchildren, 15 grandchildren, and his former wife, Madeline Jordan of Washburn. He was predeceased by his parents, four sisters, Blanche Ireland, Pearl McKenney, Edith Bear, and Lettie Leisure, and a great-grandson, Jesse Michaud. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
