LIMESTONE – Stanley A. Van Der Wende, 54, died June 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1953, in Paterson, N.J., the son of the late Howard and Mildred Van Der Wende. After high school, Stanley graduated from college with a degree in accounting and was last employed at DFAS as an accountant. He was known at the Limestone DFAS community, and will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by two daughters, to whom he was a loving father, Amy Lambdin and her husband, Anthony, of Ada, Ohio, and Nicole Van Der Wende of Bangor; two brothers, James P. Van Der Wende and his wife, Nancy, of Leonardtown, Md., and Richard P. Van Der Wende of Centreville, Md.; four nieces; and the very special love of his life, Susan Marsh of Limestone.
