CARIBOU – Stanley C. Cloney, 91, died June 23, 2008, at a Caribou health care facility. He was born March 17, 1917, in Woodland, the son of Rufus and Jenny (Harmon) Cloney. Stanley was a self-employed farmer in the Woodland area for several years and was also an antique collector. He was a member of Caribou United Baptist Church. Stanley had a deep love for the Lord and loved the old hymns of the church. He will be remembered by many special friends. Friends may call noon Tuesday, June 24, until the time of services at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Jewell, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
