STANLEY H. BREHAUT JR. LINCOLN – Stanley H. Brehaut Jr., 54, husband of Brenda (Thornton) Brehaut, died June 13, 2006, at his home. He was born July 9, 1951, in Lincoln, the son of Shirley (Blake) and Stanley H. Brehaut Sr. Stanley was a graduate of Mattanawcook Academy and also the University of Maine at Machias. He taught math and sciences at Millinocket Middle School for 30 years, where he coached track, tennis, baseball and skiing. His final year of teaching was for Maine Indian Education. He served on the Lincoln Town Council a few years ago. He loved the out of doors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing, and was a member of the National Ski Patrol. Stan was a Soudy “Hall of Famer.” He loved spending time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Stanley Brehaut Sr. In addition to his wife, Brenda; his mother, Shirley; two sons, of whom he was very proud, Ty Daniel Brehaut and his girlfriend, Courtney Soulard, and Tristen Thornton Brehaut; a sister, Rozanne Porter and her husband, James; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Mary-Beth Libby and her husband, Brian, Jacqueline Thornton and her husband, Michael; and Brian Thornton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ardean and Lewis Thornton; nieces, Lindsay Harmon and her husband, Andrew, Betheny Libby, Kristin Thornton, and Casey Thornton; nephews, John Porter and Susan Connors and Brad Libby; his wife, Kristie; great-nieces, Megan and Michelle Porter. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerry Dill officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship in his memory. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
