MEREDITH, N.H. – Stanley Royce Ludwick, 72, of Lock Eden Shores Road, died April 10, 2006, at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, N.H. Born March 23, 1934, in Knox, he was the son of Clarence L. and Finez A. (Morang) Ludwick. He was a resident of the Liberty area for many years and had been a resident of Meredith, N.H. since 1968. He worked as a carpenter and in the construction business for most all his life and had been employed by the Lee Brothers Road Construction Co. and Old Mill Construction, Meredith, until his retirement. He was an active member and long term deacon emeritus of the Calvary Bible Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. He was predeceased by sisters, Violet Stearns and Priscilla Hurst; and brother, Ralph Ludwick. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Patricia E. (Palmer) Ludwick of Meredith, N.H.; two sons, Stanley R. Ludwick Jr. of Meredith, N.H., Daniel Ludwick of Meredith, N.H.; three daughters, Cynthia Kimball of Moultonboro, N.H., Jolene Brett of Laconia, N.H., Rebecca Pinker of Walpole, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Ludwick of Camden, Joesph Ludwick of Center Harbor, many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Mayhew Funeral Home, Routes 3 and 104, Meredith, N.H. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Calvary Bible Church, St. James Street, Meredith, N.H. The Rev. Roger Brown, pastor will officiate. Burial will be held in the Meredith Village Cemetery, Meredith.
