DEDHAM – Stella Mary (Smart) Marshall, 68, died peacefully Feb. 5, 2007, at her home, after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 3, 1938, in Bangor, the daughter of Michael and Mary (McCloskey) Smart. After spending 21 years in Florida, they retired to Dedham. Stella is survived by her loving husband, Wayne L. Marshall of Dedham; daughters, Robin Wood of Veazie, Reina King of Bangor, Michelle and husband, Clifford Dunning, of Florida; son, Hardy King of Florida; four grandchildren, Carrie King and partner, Josh Bernier, of Florida, Isaac and Brandee Morse of Florida, and Brandon King and wife, Naoko, of Alaska; four great-grandchildren, Adam, Aleisha, Austin and Amanda Bernier of Florida; wonderful mother-in-law, Arlene Vardamis of Bangor; sister-in-law, Lori Varney and husband, Tim; nephew, Michael Varney; a sister, Frances and her husband, Maynard Wescott, of Winterport; and nieces, Beth, Yvonne and Lorraine.
