PALMYRA – Stephen F. Micheller, better known as “Crazy Steve,” died tragically early Saturday morning, June 9, 2007, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 7, 1957. He was an extremely talented man, known for his creative and unique ways in engineering and mechanics. After moving to the area in 1982, he considered Palmyra his home, and his many friends his family. He loved to spend time with his remote control planes and helicopters, and socializing with his friends at many of the local stores in the area. He had a great love for his son, Adam and “Dawg,” his best friend who perished with him. He was predeceased by his mother, Phyllis Micheller of East Granby, Conn. He is survived by his precious son, Adam J. Micheller of Hartland; his father, Rudolph Micheller of East Granby, Conn.; his brother, Ralph; nephew, Jared Micheller of Avon, Conn.; special friends and extended family, Gail Reid, Stan and Sue Norris, sons, Garth and Tyler, Floyd and Margaret Richards, Charles Watson, Gary Batch-elder and friend, Sarah, Mike and Shannon Salley and family. Graveside service to be announced.
