PRESQUE ISLE – Steven Doustou Sr., 81, died Oct. 16, 2004, at his home in Presque Isle. He was born July 29, 1923, in Caribou, the son of Joseph and Yvonne (Saucier) Doustou. He was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church. Before retiring Steve had been employed by the City of Presque Isle for many years. He enjoyed Music, Horse shows, walking and spending time with his family. Surviving him is his wife, Anita (Saucier) Doustou of Presque Isle; his children, Steven Doustou Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Connecticut, Wannetta Brown, and her husband, Avon, Theresa York, and her husband, Walter, and Ronald Doustou, and his wife, Diane, all of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Carrie Ann, Tracy, Rebecca, Tammy, Pammy and Jenny; six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Jackie McEachern and her husband, Ronney, and Patricia Saucier, and her good friend, Erine; a brother-in-law, Bill Carmichael; and a sister-in-law, Jeannette Doustou, all of Presque Isle. Predeceasing him was a brother, Willard Doustou; and a sister, Pauline Carmichael. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Alfred Irving celebrant. Interment will be in the St Mary’s North Main St. Cemetery.
