PRESQUE ISLE – Steven S. Kinney Sr., 41, died Dec. 24, 2004, at Mars Hill. He was born May 14, 1963, in Mars Hill the son of Wendell Sr. and Winnifred (McKim) Kinney. Steven had been employed as a truck driver for Sargent and Tweedie of Mars Hill for the past 10 years. He loved hunting, fishing and going to camp. He also was a great fan of Nascar and had particularly enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. race. He was predeceased by his father. His mother of Mars Hill survives him; along with his wife, Danielle (Griffin) Kinney; his children, Brooke, Steven Jr. and Sydney, all of Presque Isle; five sisters, Mary Ellen Dorr, Rita Wilson, Crinia Warner, Joanne Brewer and Susan Seeley; three brothers, Wendell Kinney Jr., Lee Kinney and Athill Kinney along with several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Kassidy Jo Brewer; and a special friend, Calvin Johnson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Main St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Alfred Irving officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the church from noon until the time of the service. He will be truly missed by us all; he was a special husband, father, brother and friend.
