MATTAWAMKEAG – Susan G. Simon, 44, wife of Timothy Simon, died Jan. 20, 2007, at her home. She was born April 14, 1962, in Meriden Conn., the daughter of Cliff and Shirley (Cliff) Rice. Susan enjoyed being around all of her friends. She liked hunting and fishing and going to the camp in Hudson. In addition to her husband, Tim of Mattawamkeag and her parents of Florida, she is survived by a daughter, Shaina Miles of Mattawamkeag; four brothers, James Rice of Lincoln, Thomas Rice of Germany, Paul and Charles Rice of Alabama; three sisters, Nancy Hayes of Florida, Ruth Plasko of Tennessee and Lois Perham of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tonya; and a brother, John Rice. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rich Pante officiating. Spring interment will be at Mattawamkeag Cemetery.
