BANGOR – A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Sylvia J. Thompson will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Liz Sullivan officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments immediately after the service at the fellowship hall of the Hampden Congregational Church, Main Road North, Hampden.
